Mini Movie Festival Review Amazon Mini Tv Prime five Short Films On OTT Neha Dhupia Shreya Chaudhry Bollywood

Five short films: The stories are changing with the changing times, so the style of their packaging is also changing. Amazon Mini TV, available on mobile, has been releasing short films on its platform from time to time, but this time it has released five short films together with the title Mini Movie Festival in one packaging. But this does not mean that all the films are on the same theme and all are worth watching. In such packaging, the improvised is often used as a substitute for the good. Looks like this in this mini festival. One of the problems with short films is that sometimes they are made with half preparation or it is considered enough to take on a big name. It looks like this here too.

three out of five
The point is that out of the five films of this mini festival, three are worth watching and you can skip two. There are definitely movies worth watching, Conditions Apply and The List. Whereas let it be in the screen says something that needs to be heard. These three films either talk about today or indicate towards the future of man-woman relationship. Whereas Vakil Saheb (Director: Sumit Purohit) is weak on both the level of writing and narration. Good Morning (Director: Jyoti Kapoor Das) is no more than a five-minute scene from a film. Neither the story nor the message of the film is clear.

Young Janta Ka Movie Festival | Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Kirti Kulhari | Mini Movie Festival

different subject, different length
Director Pooja Banerjee’s Apply Conditions is the story of a young woman who wants to get rid of her past relationship but it is not that easy. Despite knowing this, the least effort is being made to solve this problem. Shreya Chaudhary and Mrinal Dutt have performed well. There are good twists in the story. Director Gaurav Dave’s The List goes with satire and hints at a future when there will not be much difference between humans and robots. Everything will run from the time table. There will also be a calendar of relationships and feelings. Angad Bedi and Kirti Kulhari are in the film. The film is directed and edited. Counting dialogues. Curtain Mein Rehne Do (Director: Heena D’Souza) is a story of our times, which deserves to be seen for Malishka Mendonsa’s performance. There was scope for further improvement in this story, but seems to have been wrapped up in a hurry. The length of all these stories is different. 18 minutes to half an hour. Three stories can be seen in short breaks, if not in a single sitting. Two can be omitted.

Directed by: Pooja Banerjee, Sumit Purohit, Heena D’Souza, Jyoti Kapoor Das, Gaurav Dave
Stars: Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Kirti Kulhari, Abhishek Banerjee, Malishka Mendonsa
Rating **1/2
